ANNIE LIN (Contributing Writer): Annie Lin lived in Houston for eight years and was sad to leave a town so flat that even she could traverse its streets by bicycle. As a singer/songwriter (www.annielin.com; www.myspace.com/annielin), she played shows all over the country, but always liked playing in Texas the best. After obtaining her B.A. from Rice University and J.D. from the University of Houston, Annie moved to Brooklyn, where she now lives and continues to make music.
