Remembering the Fallen, Tonight: Benefit for Houston Firefighters at Saint Arnold’s (with Second Lovers & Corey Power)
Quick notice, y’all; there’s a very cool, very worthwhile benefit show being thrown tonight up at Saint Arnold’s Brewery in honor of Houston’s brave firefighters and EMTs. They’re always deserving of our support, to be sure, but the recent deaths of four local firefighters has really hammered it home.
The show runs from 6-8PM tonight (Tuesday, June 4th, that is) — it’s kind of a happy-hour sort of deal — and it’ll feature music by the excellent Nick Morales, frontman for great Americana-folk-pop band {Second Lovers}, and the ever-cool Corey Power, of both {Ragged Hearts} and Chase Hamblin & The Roustabouts.
It’ll cost you a measly $10 to get in, and per the Saint Arnold’s people, all of the money will go to a fund for injured firefighters. Can’t argue with that…
Good music, good beer, and a very good cause. Get on out there, eh?
