Giveaway Time: Tickets to Benjamin Wesley’s CD Release (+ Listening Party Tonight!)

Hey, all — sorry it’s been a little quiet; been hit with other things lately and am attempting to catch up somewhat. And hey, what better way to do that than with a little giveaway?

As I mentioned a handful of days ago, H-town’s own heavy-lidded, psych-pop troubadour {Benjamin Wesley} is about to release his brand-new, much-anticipated full-length, Think/Thoughts (which we reviewed, incidentally, right over here), and he’s doing it by rocking the hell out of Fitzgerald’s tomorrow night, Friday, April 6th.

It’s going to be a great, great show; openers {The Niceguys} rule — check out “Mr. Perfect,” and you’ll understand what I mean — and I’ve heard good things about {Khruangbin}, too… And then, obviously, there’s Wesley himself, who’s taken the damn good stuff from his early EP, Geschichte, and made it freaking great. His latest stuff is dark and raw and intense and personal while staying beautiful and mesmerizing. You haven’t heard anything quite like Think/Thoughts, seriously.

So, if you want to be there to bask in the cheery glow of awesomeness that’s sure to be emanating from the stage at Fitz, you can do one of three things to grab one of two pairs of tickets:
