H.I.S.D. in NYC

And for the way, way, way out-of-towners… Ran across a bit of news that Houston’s own {H.I.S.D.} rap crew have been invited northeastward, all the way up to NYC, to play Hot 97‘s Who’s Next Showcase tomorrow, Thurs., April 21st. I dunno the venue, obviously, not living in NY, but the show’ll apparently be at 204 Varick; Google it, people.

So, if you’re anywhere near the five boroughs tomorrow night, definitely swing by — I saw these guys live a while ago, and they were pretty damn impressive to witness. Probably the best hip-hop crew I’ve seen in recent years, I’d say… Congrats to ’em for the showcase spot.
