See A Movie: Win Passes to The Next Three Days Screening Tomorrow
Giveaway time, folks… Paul Haggis-directed thriller The Next Three Days (from Lionsgate) opens this weekend, and it looks pretty damn neat, at least to me; I’m not familiar with the movie Haggis is remaking, French film Pour Elle, but I like the general plot line quite a bit: man’s wife is unjustly(?) accused of a murder, so he fights to prove her innocence legally for as long as he can, and then takes more drastic steps (like, say, breaking her out of prison) when the legal options run out. I like the fact that leading man Russell Crowe‘s playing just a normal, average guy (as far as I can tell from the previews I’ve seen, anyway) and not some superheroic figure — he’s Bruce Willis in Die Hard, doing whatever he has to to save the woman he loves.
Plus, the movie stars a laundry list of my personal favorite actors — I like Crowe pretty well, sure, but I truly like the side players, like Lennie James (who’s a hopefully-recurring character now in The Walking Dead, too), Liam Neeson, and Olivia Wilde. And Paul Haggis is no slouch, either, with the excellent Crash and In the Valley of Elah under his directing belt.
Here’s the preview for the movie:
Now, for the good part: we’ve got 15 passes for two (meaning “two each,” so that’s 30 people total) up for grabs for a preview screening tomorrow, Wed., November 17th, at the Studio Movie Grill (the City Center location, at 805 Town and Country Lane) at 7:30PM.
If you want a pass, just send an email to “contests” at “spacecityrock dot com” with the words “Ooh, ooh, pick me!” in the Subject line, and we’ll hook it up for the first 15 people. Cool?
