I think he’s back in the country now, but I’m not entirely sure; Jon Thompson, who runs the label, was living over in London for a while there, so… Anyway, wherever he’s dwelling right at the moment, the guy puts out some amazingly cool, laid-back, atmospheric stuff, swinging between more overtly dreampop and ambient-ish offerings.

I think the only local Houston artist on the label is Thompson himself, with his {Oppressed by the Line} project, but the other folks he’s worked with, like Brits Matt Bartram or Kontakte, are pretty damn cool themselves.
