Black Math Comes Back (+ Skyblue Takes a Break) [12/03/2009 02:32:00 PM]:
I think I've mentioned this before, back when the announcement came out that local jokesters/rockers The Black Math Experiment were reforming, but now I can't remember for sure. Either way, the fateful day is (almost) upon us -- this coming Saturday, December 5th, the BME gang will be getting back together and playing their first show as the new-and-improved BME Mk. II (or is it III, at this point?), which is very, very cool.

Oh, and the show's not just noteworthy for the BME-ers, entertaining and quirky though they are. It also seems that for funky rock trio Skyblue72, who're opening the show, this will be the last show for quite a while, since drummer/singer Jessica Zweback-Zollar is about to become a mom. No, seriously -- she's headed out on maternity leave to have her first child, for which I'll offer a hearty "congratulations!" Enjoy your sleep now, because soon, you won't. (Really.)

The "headliners" of the show aren't either of the above bands, actually, but out-of-towners The Benjy Davis Project. I've got no, no, no idea

The show's up at The Continental Club and starts somewhere around 8PM, I believe -- tickets are $10 in advance or $15 at the door. Make yr plans...
