General Info: You might see “The Mink” or “The Backroom” listed separately, but don’t be fooled — The Backroom’s actually where the musical acts (the non-DJ ones, at least) play, while the front area is the actual “bar” part of the building, The Mink. I think that’s how it works, anyway… At any rate, they’ve had a bunch of really interesting bands playing there over the past few years; even if they don’t have shows every night like, say, The Proletariat used to, it’s still an interesting place. They also host improv-theatre nights, DJ nights, and all kinds of other stuff.
