Good Show Tonight: The Terrordactyls/The Wild Moccasins/Buxton @ Notsuoh
I couldn’t tell you why, but somehow, this flyer speaks to me…very odd. Of course, it could be simply because it’s gonna be a freakin’ great show, with two awesomely cool locals — the indie-pop-ish Wild Moccasins and fractured country/folk-pop Buxton — and one intriguing out-of-towner — The Terrordactyls (three words: kazoo & toy piano). Yeah, that might have something to do with it…
Sadly, I will be at home perched precariously on the couch watching the results roll in and wondering how much a decent house rents for somewhere in the vicinity of Vancouver, as I seem to do every four years or so. If you get to the point where the electiobabble is making you ill, however, I’d heartily encourage you to get the heck on over to Notsuoh tonight (Tues., November 4th, if you’re an idiot and didn’t already know) at around 7PM, slap down your measly $3, and thank your lucky stars The Man has yet to make good, good music illegal.
