Jacob Calle clued me in to something that's at least
supposed to happen next weekend,
October 25th, and to my addled brain, at least, it sounds pretty fucking cool. I'm not gonna really spoil the thing here, but if you're curious, look

If you'd rather not ruin the surprise, shock, and (hopefully) horror, well, you can just show up in the Shepherd Plaza/Westheimer area on the 25th (or possibly south of The Meridian; that's where the route looked to be on the hand-drawn map I saw today) and try to escape with your life... (Oh, and you might want to read up beforehand, just in case.)
