A Damn Good Idea

Once, long ago, your humble Editor had a vision of a tangled “family tree” of Houston bands, documenting the various links between folks like Middlefinger, Blueprint, and the Zydeco Dots. We put together a low-tech print version, but our schemes for an online, HTMLized version never materialized.

Now, however, the Houston Press‘s John Lomax has picked up the torch — he’s beginning a brand-new Houston band map, and he needs the help of all you H-town band folk out there, past and present. If you’ve got some information about your band’s ever-shifting cadre of members, drop him a line…
